Baby Carrier Poll

Written by therightbabygear

Which baby carrier is everyone using?  Which one is your favorite and why?  I’m hearing a lot of buzz about the Beco 4th Generation baby carriers.  Anyone have one and if so, do you like it?

I love my pouch sling from http://www.cabinbaby.com. Dawn produces high-quality, darling slings with great customer service locally here in Alaska.(she ships to all over the country)

The Beco 4th generation SSC is no longer made, unfortunately. I am interested in trying out their new Butterfly though. I like the Ergo and Patapum and have purchased a Yamo that I will be trying out once I give birth and the baby is old enough. I will be using an infant insert for the Ergo but probably will be using a pouch that I have (forgot who made it) and a WAHM-made sling for the newborn stage.

I have been using the Ellaroo Mei Tai carrier for my 9 mo. old for 4 months now. I can wear it on the front, side or back. It took some getting used to putting it on. I went from the ease of use of the Baby Bjorn to the Ellaroo and they are completely different. I tried a Hotsling and my daughter hated it. The Ellaroo is very, very comfortable to wear and definitely the best fit for us both now in terms of comfort and correct support. The Beco looks like a great product and I may be checking that out as well.
